ISLAND TO ISLAND
With a B.A. in Embroidery from Loughborough College of Art and Design and following a professional life in Textiles, working on costumes for theatre, ballet and alongside interior designers throughout the UK. Escaping the rat-race, she decided to take a year off in Crete and never left. In contrast to the greyness of England, everything seemed so alive bathed in Greek light, colours, landscape, people, the raw energy, and plant life. Within a Mediterranean backdrop, Music became increasingly influential as a catalyst in the creative process giving life to artwork born in the natural context of the island.
